Fotona4D® is a series of synergistic, non-invasive laser treatments of both the exterior facial and interior oral cavity, enabling full-thickness contraction of collagen for persistent tightening and volumization without injectables. With two laser wavelengths (Er:YAG and Nd:YAG) and 4 treatment modes, anti-aging is comprehensively approached from 4 different levels, working on deeper, medial and superficial connective structures of the skin, as well as targeting imperfections.
The four “dimensions” of Fotona4D® refer to four distinct treatments with Fotona’s SP Dynamis or SP Spectro systems: SmoothLiftinTM, FRAC3®, PIANO® and SupErficialTM, all harnessed in concert to combat facial aging, with little or no downtime or anesthesia, and that can be performed all year-round.
A revolutionary non-ablative Er:YAG intraoral treatment for controlled and gentle “bulk-heating” to stimulate collagen contraction. In addition to an immediate effect resulting in the shrinkage of collagen fibers, the initiation of new collagen generation occurs. The effects result in an overall improvement of tightness and elasticity in the treated tissue as well as a plumping effect to the nasolabial folds from the inside, much like a filler.
A self-induced, fractional effect of the Nd:YAG laser and a specific pulse structure that generates tiny regional spikes of high temperature. This nonablative modality enables the treatment of specific, deeper imperfections to complement the effect of the intraoral treatment, as well as restore youthful texture.
A light cold Er:YAG ablation that gives a pearl finish to the skin. SupErficial additionally improves the appearance of the skin and reduces imperfections by using propriety VSP technology, enabling the operator to easily adjust the laser to an extremely controlled light peel, without thermal effects, for a no-down time, precise treatment.
Laser Hair Removal for All Skin Types
Why laser hair removal?
Unwanted body and facial hair is a common problem for many men and women of all skin types. Laser hair treatments are safe, effective and convenient way to achieve permanent hair reduction. These treatments deliver outstanding results, saving you time and money!
Who can get laser hair removal?
Laser hair removal treatments traditionally work best on people with fair skin and dark hair since the light from the laser does not
get absorbed by dark pigments in the skin surrounding the hair follicle. However, devices with longer wavelengths, such as “Nd:YAG” lasers, have the ability to treat darker skin types, as they can reach the deepest hair follicles with lower light absorption by the surrounding skin.
What if I have darker skin?
The Fotona Dynamics & YAG laser can be used on all skin types. It uses an exclusive method of laser delivery called Avalanche FRAC3®. This scientifically proven method is based on a technique by which the absorption of laser light in the hair follicle
is increased with each successively delivered laser pulse. The Avalanche method helps reduce discomfort and improves the efficacy of the treatment for darker skin tones.
What can I expect?
Because hair grows in cycles, several treatments are necessary to achieve permanent results. You can expect anywhere from 10-25% hair reduction with each treatment, and the regrowth following treatments is usually lighter and finer. Typically treatments are performed every 4-8 weeks

Laser Treatment for Snoring
What causes snoring?
Snoring occurs when air is not able to move freely through your nose and mouth during sleep. This is due to a narrowing of your airway, which causes the tissues to vibrate and make an audible sound. In extreme cases the airway can become blocked which is known as obstructive sleep apnea. Many factors can contribute to snoring such as age, nasal and sinus problems, being overweight, alcohol, smoking, medications, and sleep posture.
What is the impact of snoring?
Snoring has a number of consequences that can impact the life of a snorer and his/her
sleep partner. Sleep deprivation as a result of snoring has a negative impact on health and quality of life. Snorers can experience tiredness, morning headaches, irritability, dry mouth, and relationship difficulties. Studies have also shown a link between snoring and an increased risk of heart attack and stroke*.
What are the treatment options?
Most treatments for snoring attempt to keep the breathing passage open. Specially made dental appliances can be effective, but rely on daily compliance. Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP) systems are often used to help control sleep apnea and the snoring associated with it, however these devices can be very uncomfortable. There are surgical options available for correcting snoring which usually involve removal of tissue from the uvula and pharynx but these surgeries are invasive and can result in a lengthy and unconformable recovery period following the surgery.
Endovenous Laser Treatment
Problems with unsightly veins are very common and their incidence increases significantly after the age of 40. The causes of varicose veins are widespread although heredity is the most common factor. Hormonal changes play a large part and this probably explains why more women suffer from varicose veins than men. Other contributory factors include obesity and prolonged standing.
Varicose veins occur when veins do not properly return blood from the lower leg to the heart. When the valves in the veins fail to function properly, blood leaks back through the valves and ows in the wrong direction. The blood over lls and distends the superficial veins under the skin, resulting in the bulging seen in varicose veins.
The walls and valves of veins are thin and elastic, and can stretch due to a variety of conditions including pregnancy, heredity
and age. When varicose veins become severe, it is referred to
as chronic venous insufficiency and the symptoms include aching pain, leg fatigue and heaviness,
all of which worsen as the day progresses. Left untreated, chronic venous insufficiency can cause ulceration, which can be very difficult to treat.
Laser technology now offers a new, less invasive procedure to remove varicose veins.
Advantages of endovenous laser treatment
- Less Invasive
- Lower Complication Rate
- Well Tolerated by Patients
- Quick Recovery Time
- Good Cosmetic Results
- No Scarring Effective on Large Truncal veins in the legs
“Combining the three Fotona skin treatment modes of SP Dynamis with the fourth, intraoral SmoothLiftinTM mode gives the physician a new, powerful non-invasive treatment. The procedure is typically painless, not requiring anesthesia, and can be done without any downtime. Moreover, it can be performed year round, including the summer months, without the risk of adverse events such as post-procedural hyperpigmentation. With Fotona4D®, our patients now have a multi- dimensional choice of safe and effective treatment options for their aesthetic needs.”Adrian Gaspar (M.D)
“Together, these unique four laser modalities provide a full thickness penetration laser treatment that can really impress. You can treat superficially as well as down to the dermis, provide volumetric bulk heating, and then plump from the inside at just the right location for a synergistic effect. You get great results in one session, although as with other therapies, additional sessions provide additional improvement.”M. Christine Lee (M.D)
